Email security

CIC supports two types of email security solutions:

•  SSL/TLS
•  S/MIME

Customers may choose to implement one or both of these solutions.

Note: Email security implementation in CIC does not require any additional licensing. The necessary certificates and private keys can be free or for-cost, and must be obtained separately from a certificate authority (CA), such as Verisign.
