IPA Monitor

If there is an outage with the Process Automation Server, IPA Monitor displays a message indicating that Process Automation Server is unavailable. The monitor reconnects and displays active processes again once the Process Automation Server restarts.

If there is a switchover event, processes that appear in the Process Monitor disappear and the connection to the failed server drops. The Process Monitor reconnects to the new primary server when it is available and new processes can start. However, processes started before the switchover event don't reappear until the failed primary server fully restarts as the backup server and the persistence data synchronization occurs.
