This API documentation describes the high-level workflow of Interaction Dialer and Dialer campaigns in ICWS, when called by an external application. The Dialer service permits a client to log in to campaigns and process calls placed by Dialer. This API currently does not support any configuration of campaigns, starting/stopping of campaigns, scripting/call stages, or Finishing agents.
This API allows an agent to have multiple web browser tabs open at once. Each tab has its own session ID but uses the same agent username and external application name. The API groups these sessions together, and they interact with Dialer as if they are one session. Dialer continues to interact with this session as long as the agent has at least one tab open.
