ABA Codes

Use the Latitude Maintenance window to search for or delete American Bankers Association (ABA) codes (routing numbers). Use the ABA Routing Properties dialog box to add or modify ABA codes. The system uses routing numbers to verify the financial institution when you submit a check, ACH, electronic funds transfer, or online banking transaction.

To add or modify an ABA code

1. In the Main Menu window, from the Maintenance menu, click System Codes and Settings. The Latitude Maintenance window appears.

2. In the Navigation pane, do one of the following:

• To add an ABA code, right-click the ABA folder and then click New ABA Routing Code. The ABA Routing Properties dialog box appears without any values.

• To modify an ABA code, do the following:

1. Click the ABA folder.

2. In the Information pane, type search criteria into one or more boxes and then click Find Now.

3. Right-click the record in the search results and then click Properties. The ABA Routing Properties dialog box appears with the current values.

3. Complete the information and then click OK.
