Allow Partial Settlements Permission

Use the Allow Partial Settlements permission to specify whether users can create a settlement arrangement that does not fulfill the terms of that settlement yet. The arrangement must meet the specified requirements. The settlement information remains on the account and a subsequent arrangement resumes it.

Location

In the Latitude Permissions and Policies Editor window, expand the Arrangements folder and then click Allow Partial Settlements.

Scope

This permission is available for all scopes.

Policy

This policy allows your organization to specify whether users can accept partial settlements. Enable the permission for a scope and then specify the settings.

• Minimum Payments: Minimum number of payments to accept as a partial settlement.

• Minimum Amount: Minimum payment dollar amount to accept as a partial settlement.

• Payment Methods: Payment methods allowed for a partial settlement.
