Maintain Collateral Information
Use the Collateral tab in the Automotive panel to maintain collateral information.
To maintain collateral information

With an account displayed in the Work Form, do one of the following:

From the Info menu, click Automotive Panel.

At the top of the Panels section, click the name of the currently displayed panel (for example, Phones, Notes) and then click Automotive.

In the Automotive panel, click the Collateral tab.
Year: Vehicle's model year.
Make: Vehicle's make.
Model: Vehicle's model.
Add-On: Vehicle's add-on features.
VIN: Vehicle Identification Number.
Manufacturing Code: Code that identifies the vehicle manufacturer.
Series Identifier: Series code that identifies the vehicle.
Color: Color of the vehicle.
Ignition Key Number: Number that identifies the ignition key.
Other Key Number: Number that identifies another vehicle key, such as the valet key.
Purchase Amount: Purchase amount the vehicle.
MSRP: Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price.
Miles: If selected, the box contains the number of miles on the vehicle.
Hours: If selected, the box contains the number of hours on the vehicle.
Fair Market Value: Dollar amount the vehicle would sell for on the open market.
Totaled: If selected, the vehicle is totaled.
Damaged: If selected, the vehicle is damaged.
Sell Collateral: If selected, the lien holder intends to sell the vehicle for collateral.
Description: A description of the condition of the vehicle.
Legal Code: Legal code that grants the lien holder or credit agency the right to repossess the vehicle when a debtor defaults on the loan or lease agreement.
Termination Date: Termination date of the lease agreement.
Termination Effective Date: Date the termination of the lease agreement became effective.
Finance Charge Due: Finance charge due on the loan.
Late Charge Due: Late charge due on the loan.
Tag
Decal State: State where the vehicle is licensed.
Decal Number: Vehicle's license plate number.
Decal Year: Vehicle's license plate year.
Title
Position: Position of the title (for example, original, duplicate).
State: State where the vehicle is titled.
Status: Status of the vehicle's title (for example, salvage, rebuilt, junk).
Have Title: If selected, indicates that you have the title.
Dealer
Dealer Code: Dealer's license number.
Endorsement Code: Code that identifies the dealer's auto-broker endorsement.
Reserve Charge Back: Dollar amount to charge back the dealer for early payoff of a loan.

Complete the information and then click Save.
