WorkFlow Designer Help
Start WorkFlow Engine
You can start WorkFlow Engine manually, or start it using a SQLAgent or Windows Task Manager job your organization scheduled to run at a specific time. We recommend that you schedule the WorkFlow Engine to start automatically.
To start WorkFlow Engine
Do one of the following:

To start WorkFlow Engine automatically, create a SQLAgent or Windows Task Manager job and specify the schedule for starting WorkFlow Engine.

To start WorkFlow Engine manually, open the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Software\bin" folder and double-click WorkFlow.Engine.exe.
WorkFlow Engine starts and then runs in the background.
WorkFlow Engine considerations
Consider the following information regarding WorkFlow Engine:

The time of day and frequency in which WorkFlow Engine runs could affect server performance.

Events and activities can enter the event queue at any time; however, WorkFlow Engine processes them during the next scheduled session.

Do not schedule WorkFlow Engine to run at the same time as your system backup is running.

For Latitude by Genesys-hosted systems, Latitude by Genesys schedules WorkFlow Engine to run twice daily.
