Claim Type Codes

Use the Latitude Maintenance window to search for or delete claim type codes. Use the Claim Type Properties dialog box to add or modify claim type codes. Claim types are for accounts that your agency handles. You can assign debtor accounts to a claim type from the Work Form in the Account Miscellaneous Information window under Account Type. 

To add or modify a claim type code

1. In the Main Menu window, from the Maintenance menu, click System Codes and Settings. The Latitude Maintenance window appears.

2. In the Navigation pane, do one of the following:

• To add a claim type code, right-click the Claim Type folder and then click New Claim Type. The Claim Type Properties dialog box appears without any values.

• To modify a claim type code, right-click the claim type code and then click Properties. The Claim Type Properties dialog box appears with the current values.

3. Complete the information and then click OK.
