Account Lock Out Policy Permission
Use the Account Lock Out Policy permission to specify the number of times a user can attempt to log on to Latitude using an incorrect password before the system locks the user account.
Location
In the Latitude Permissions and Policies Editor window, expand the Security folder and then click Account Lock Out Policy.

This permission is available for the following scopes:

Policy
This policy allows your organization to specify criteria for unsuccessful logon attempts. Enable the permission for a scope and then specify the settings.

Maximum unsuccessful attempts: Number of unsuccessful attempts to log on to allow before locking the user account.
- Duration of account lockout (min): Number of minutes the system locks the user account after reaching the specified number of unsuccessful attempts to log on.
Note: System administrators can unlock a user account in Users - Roles.
