Add a Custom List

Use the Custom List dialog box to add a custom list.

To add a custom list

  1. With an account displayed in the Work Form, do one of the following:

    • From the Info menu, click Complaints.

    • At the top of the Panels section, click the name of the currently displayed panel (for example, Phones, Notes) and then click Care and Hardship, Complaints, or Disputes. The following example shows the Complaints panel.

  1. In the toolbar in the selected panel, click Custom List.

  1. In the toolbar in the Custom Lists window, click Add Custom List.

Namespace: Alternate name for the custom list.

List Code: Code that identifies the custom list.

Description: Description of the custom list.

Display Name: Name of the custom list. This name appears when displaying the list in a custom panel.

Max Code Length: Maximum number of characters allowed for the custom data code.

Max Description Length: Maximum number of characters allowed for the custom data description.

Code is Numeric: If selected, the custom data code is numeric. If cleared, the custom data code is alphanumeric.

  1. Complete the information and then click OK.
