Modify a Care Type

Use the Care Type panel to modify a care type.

To modify a care type

  1. In the Navigation pane, click System Codes and Settings > Accounts > Care Type.

Care Type panel

Code: Code that identifies the type of care, such as long-term illness or literacy issues.

On Hold Days: Default number of days to place the account on hold to suspend collection activity.

Severity: Level of severity (1-10) for the care type.

Proof Required: If selected, your organization requires proof of the need for care.

Description: Description of the care type.

Consent: If selected, you have consent from the customer to discuss care and financial hardship information.

  1. Click the Edit icon. The care type appears in edit mode.

  2. Modify the information and then click the check mark.
