Add a Note to an Account
Use the Latitude - New Note dialog box to add a note to an account. An account can have an unlimited number of notes. The notes you add here also appear in the Notes panel in the lower section of the Work Form.
To add a note to an account

With an account displayed in the Work Form, in the menu bar, click Notes. The New Note dialog box appears.
Action Code: Action code that indicates an action on the account.
Result Code: Result code that indicates what happened as a result of the action. The system also uses result codes to count the number of accounts each collector works and contacts. The system adds text to the Comment box for certain result codes.
Comment: Content of the note. If the system added information automatically, you can type over it or add to it. There is no limitation on the length of the note.
Mark Note as private: If selected, the system flags the note as private and only users with the appropriate permissions can view it.
Clear Note: Removes all text from the Comment box.
Note: Once you save a note, you cannot modify it.

Click Accept. The system adds the note to the All Debtor Notes dialog box and the Notes panel in the Work Form. The system stamps the note with the current date, time, and user who added the note.
