Handler (definition)

A program built in the Interaction Designer program that performs some action or actions in response to the occurrence of some event. A handler is a collection of steps (called tools) organized and linked to form a logical flow of actions and decisions. Handlers are similar in structure to a detailed flowchart. Using Host tools in handlers allows a handler to send commands to the Host Server.
