Delete a node

The Delete command removes a node from the tree, along with its children.  You cannot undo a delete. 

  1. Select the node you wish to delete from the tree.

  2. Press the Delete key. If the node has children, you are asked to confirm this operation:

  3. Press Yes to delete the node and its children.  Or press No to cancel the delete operation.   If the node contains child objects, they will be deleted along with the parent.

Usage

This command may be invoked using any of the following methods:

  • Press the Delete () button on the main toolbar.

  • Pull down the Edit menu and select Delete.

  • Press the right mouse button while the mouse is over an object, and choose Delete from the context menu.
