Monthly Schedules

Monthly schedules run on a particular day or range of dates each month.  You must set boundary dates to identify when the schedule starts and ends.  You must also specify whether the schedule runs all day, or between specific times of day.

Settings on this tab are evaluated only if the call arrives between the Schedule Start and Schedule End date and time.  The Schedule's Active check box must also be checked. 

Start Day frame

First day of the Month

Configures the schedule to start on the first day of the month.

Last day of the Month

Configures the schedule to start on the last day of the month.

Particular Day

Configures the schedule to start on any day of the month.

End Day frame

First day of the Month

Configures the schedule to end on the first day of the month.

Last day of the Month

Configures the schedule to end on the last day of the month.

Particular Day

Configures the schedule to end on any day of the month.

Time Range frame

These options restrict the schedule to specific starting and ending times, or set the schedule to run all day.

This schedule should run all day

Indicates that the schedule should run all day between Start Day and End Day.

This schedule should run between

This option allows you run the schedule between start and end times, between Start Day and End Day.

End-of-Month Schedule Example

The end-of-month schedule below handles a special situation that happens at the end of every month.

Monthly schedules are configured by selecting the day of the month that the schedule should take effect in the Start Day box and the last day of the month that the schedule should be effective in the End Day box.

For example, Selecting "First day of the month" in the Start Day box and selecting "Particular day" in the End Day box and setting the associated control to 7 would create a schedule that becomes active on the first day of the month and continues to stay active through the 7^th day of the month, every month.

The "Last day of the month" option gives a user the ability to configure a schedule to start or end on the last day of the month regardless of what day that might be (28^th, 29^th, 30^th or 31^st).

Like the time ranges, selecting a day of the month in the Start Day box that is later in the month than the day selected in the End Day box will create a schedule that becomes active on the day specified in the Start Day box of one month and continues to be active through the day specified in the End Day box of the following month.
