Set Up Voice Mail Distribution in Attendant

Use this procedure to configure a workgroup distribution list for voicemail distribution in Attendant:

  1. In Interaction Administrator, set up a work group with no Queue.

  2. Set up the work group to use a Mail box.

  3. Open Attendant and create a new profile that includes a Transfer to Voice mail operation.

  4. Set it as the Default action for the profile and remove any greetings.

  5. Select the newly created work group from the Transfer To section.

  6. Now go back to IA and change the work group back to 'No Mailbox' and remove anything in the Display name.

  7. Add a new Server parameter: Workgroup Distribution List Behavior and set the value to True.

  8. Add users to the workgroup and deactivate them from it.
