Copying and Pasting an Action from a State to a Task

You can copy and paste an action from a state to a task. States support some action types that tasks do not support, so you can only paste these action types:

• Decision

• Loop

• Run Task

• Select

To copy and paste an action from a state to a task:

1. In the state, right-click the desired action, then click Copy in the shortcut menu.
   
   IPA Designer copies the action to the Windows Clipboard.

2. Navigate to the task in which you want to paste the action.

3. In the task, right-click the desired location for the action, then click Paste in the shortcut menu.
