WebRTC in Cloud Infrastructure

PureConnect Hive is the new Cloud Infrastructure for PureConnect owned Services, which are currently hosted in Genesys Cloud.

Any WebRTC Integration specific components or services on the Genesys Cloud have been moved on to PureConnect Hive. PureConnect users can access the WebRTC add-in files from PureConnect Hive instead of Genesys Cloud.

Components that are built and deployed in HIVE US East Region, are delivered to our PureConnect users from their nearest CloudFront (which is not region specific) end point to reduce latency.

• To access the WebRTC changes, you must apply for the Interaction Connect patch on top of your existing version. For this you don't need to either upgrade your CIC version or apply for any additional licensing. You will not see any change in the WebRTC functionality including the user interface.
