Change the Site Name

IC Setup Assistant detects the site name that was previously used when IC Setup Assistant was run to configure CIC.

New Site Name

If you wish to change the site name, enter the new site name. There are no requirements for how to name a site.

IC Setup Assistant will rename Directory Services Site key.

Switchover server checkbox

If this CIC Server is:

• The active server in a Switchover pair, leave the checkbox checked.

• The backup server in a Switchover pair, uncheck the checkbox.

Note: Renaming the Directory Services is usually done in a migration context. It may prevent CIC or some of its components from working properly. It should not be done lightly.
