Configure the IMAP Provider

The IMAP server handles the receipt of mail. Enter the information that CIC needs to connect to the IMAP server.

Timeout (sec)

Specify the how long the IMAPconnector should wait for a response from the IMAP server before abandoning the attempt to receive an e-mail message.

Add one or more IMAP servers to use

Click Add to add one or more IMAP server entries in the IMAP Server dialog. Your input will be reflected in the worksheet.

Once you have added IMAP server entries, you can highlight an entry to Edit or Delete it.

Additional configuration in Interaction Administrator

The IMAP Configuration dialog in the Interaction Administrator Mail container contains the following additional setting not available in Setup Assistant.

• Use Secure Connections (TLS). If you are using SSL/TLS for the IMAP provider to provide security between the CIC Server and the IMAP server, we recommend that you install and configure the IC Server first without configuring for SSL/TLS. Once you have determined that the CIC System is functioning properly, configure CIC for SSL/TLS.

IC Survey Location: This information may be included in the IC Survey file. If so, the selection/value will appear in this dialog. You can review the contents of the IC Survey file by selecting View Survey in the Load IC Survey File dialog or opening it in a Pre-Install survey in the IC Survey system.
