Do you want to install on a Domain?

The IC Setup Assistant detected that this CIC Server is not a member of a domain.

I need to add this IC Server to the domain

Select this option if you want to add the CIC Server to a domain. IC Setup Assistant will exit, and you can add the CIC Server to the desired domain. Then restart the IC Setup Assistant.

I do not want the IC Server on a domain

Select this option if you do not want to run this CIC Server on a domain. You would choose this if you were running a small CIC Server on a network workgroup instead of a domain.

Limitations in a non-domain environment

The following components/products will not work with CIC running in a non-domain environment:

• Switchover Service

• Multi-Site

• Interaction Dialer

Functionality that may or work differently:

• Log in for any remote application (Interaction Desktop, Interaction Fax, Interaction Voicemail Player)

• DCOM based application

IC Survey Location: This information may be included in the IC Survey file. If so, the selection/value will appear in this dialog. You can review the contents of the IC Survey file by selecting View Survey in the Load IC Survey File dialog or opening it in a Pre-Install survey in the IC Survey system.
