Pre-Install Survey

The Pre-Install survey collects information about a customer's CIC installation. It includes questions about how the CIC Server should be set up, including:

  • CIC administrator and network information

  • CIC license

  • CIC optional components, such as Multi-Site and Switchover

  • Dial plan

  • Database (Reporting and others)

  • Mail provider

  • Stations

  • Users

  • Workgroups

  • Roles

  • Auto-attendant menu

  • Log Retrieval Assistant

  • Interaction Recorder (if add-on license purchased)

  • Interaction Tracker (if add-on license purchased)

  • Speech Recognition engine (if add-on license purchased)

The contents of a Pre-Install survey are stored in an IC Survey file, which the IC Setup Assistant can read.
