Google Chrome Deprecating Third-Party Cookies
Google Chrome is undergoing significant changes to its security model, which includes phasing out support for third-party cookies. This transition will directly impact the integration of PureConnect within Salesforce, particularly concerning CIC4SF. Third-party cookies have been widely used to enable cross-site tracking, which supports various legitimate functionalities. These cookies facilitate the management of states in embedded content and enable user sessions across multiple sites. However, as the web ecosystem evolves towards a more privacy-centric approach, the reliance on third-party cookies for these purposes is being reconsidered.
