   1.1.8

03-Sep-2022

  • The minor issue reported in SORS 1.1.6 or earlier versions is fixed. In SORS 1.1.6 or prior versions, frequent manual clean-up of routing table is necessary to avoid the build-up of unrouted objects. These could be orphaned cases and SORS currently goes through these on restart. Refer Unprocessed_entries_in_the_Object_Routing_table for details.

  • Most of the time the fix in SORS 1.1.8 will take care of cleaning up the unrouted objects. However, in very rare scenarios, a manual clean-up of your routing table is necessary to avoid the build-up of unrouted objects.

  • We request on a regular schedule to monitor the routing table.

   1.1.7

24-May-2022

  • Minor Fix was addressed as part of our Internal Audit. And there are no other major changes/fixes apart from the minor security fix.

Note:The minor issue in SORS v1.1.6 still exists in SORS v1.1.7 and the manual workaround should continue to be employed. Refer to Special Notices dated 19th April 2022.

   1.1.6

19-Apr-2022

Note : It is highly recommended that all customers upgrade to SORS v1.1.6 at the earliest possible. Refer to Special Notices dates 19th April 2022.

1.1.5

23-Dec-2021

PureConnect Salesforce Object Routing Service was not sending the Push Topic Subscription API calls to Salesforce over the proxy. As a result, SORS could not subscribe to Push Topics and route cases into PureConnect CIC successfully.
To send the subscription requests successfully across the proxy, SORS has been enhanced by configuring proxy to route calls to the Subscription API using Faye NPN module instead of the JSForce Wrapper API.

1.1.4

23-Jul-2021

  • Improved reconnection, in case of Salesforce connection failure and addition of Salesforce connection heartbeat.
  • Fixed SORS with OSSM issues.
  • Fixed Proxy support for SORS issue.
  • For SF_URLPop interaction attribute conflict - Added a separate interaction attribute for handling the update of IsRoutingComplete flag in Salesforce Database. Updated Custom handler (Salesforce_InteractionCreator.ihd). The latest custom handler should be used along with SORS version 1.1.4.

1.1.3

23-Feb-2021

The connection between SORS and Salesforce was unable to refresh after logout and again login into Salesforce. JSforce NPM module has been updated to the latest package, so the JSforce connection refreshes during the Salesforce login. The Salesforce streaming push topic subscription mechanism is used instead of the Salesforce topic channel subscription mechanism.

1.1.2

15-Feb-2021

  • Updated the process of installing SORS in offline mode.
  • Modified the installation script to prompt the user to uninstall the previous version of SORS from the server.

The Salesforce Object Routing Server integrates Salesforce with Customer Interaction Center (CIC). The Salesforce Object Routing Server is a Node.js service using the official version of the Salesforce Comet D client APIs. It replaces the Salesforce Object Routing Connector and eliminates the need for the PureCloud Bridge Server.

Notice: Genesys will not support the PureCloud Bridge Server after January 1, 2021. To use the new Salesforce Object Routing Server, customers must use CIC 2018 R4 or a later release.
