Editing the Siebel configuration files

To explain how to modify the configuration file to enable Siebel Communication Services, this section uses the Siebel Call Center Object Manager’s configuration file, uagent.cfg as an example. The configuration files are located in <Siebel Installation Path>\siebsrvr\bin\ <Language Code>.

Note: The configuration file to edit depends on the object manager being used. Each configuration file is unique to a customer because it reflects the customer-specific requirements and which Siebel solution is implemented.

To modify the configuration file:

  1. Open the object manager’s .cfg file.

  1. Scroll down to the Communication Administration.

The following table describes the configuration settings. For more settings and information, see the Siebel Communications Server Administration Guide in the Siebel Bookshelf.
