CIC Client Help

CIC offers the following interaction management client applications.

Interaction Desktop Client is the Windows-based CIC client that runs in a framework. It enables you to create multiple workspaces and combine CIC client views to suit your workflow. Interaction Desktop features enhanced Email views, including support for Email Folders.

Interaction Connect is our browser-based interaction manager offering call control functionality, chat features, and status management. It also supports email and callback interactions. It includes directories with contact and status information. Interaction Connect is run from the browser — no components are installed on the desktop.

Interaction Process Automation Stand-Alone Web Client includes the Interaction Process Automation Work Item Client and the Interaction Process Automation Work Item Viewer. These web-based components, are Interaction Process Automation applications for users who do not need the more full-featured CIC client. Functionality in the initial release focuses on managing work item interactions only.

Interaction Optimizer enables you to view your schedule and submit time off requests. This web-based interface is available as a browser application or as a view inside Interaction Desktop Client. Your CIC administrator determines whether you have access to Interaction Optimizer either in a browser or inside Interaction Desktop.
