Download and install IIS Media Services

Interaction Web Portal uses IIS and its Media Services extension module (available for download here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27955) to stream audio obtained from recordings for use with playback features. Before you can begin using streaming audio, download and install IIS Media Services.

Important: To install IIS Media Services on Windows Server 2016 or newer, see PureConnect Customer Care KB article 000074098.

To download and install IIS Media Services:

1. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27955.

2. Follow the installation instructions provided by Microsoft.
