About Notification Actions
Several actions send notifications (for example send an Email or write an event log message). These notification actions contain fixed content. The content of the message is defined when the Action is defined. However, you can insert macros into the text of a notification message. Macros are variables whose value is inserted at run time into the text of a notification message. For example, you might use macros to insert the name of the current campaign into the body of an Email message, along with statistics for Total Calls, Abandonment, and Total Successes.
