Grids and Lists

Interaction Process Automation Designer now allows a process author to bind complex data types and/or lists of complex data types to a data grid control for display within a work item page form. The initial functionality features a read-only display of the complex data type, enabling the process author to pick and choose the property fields to display. Data grid supports single and multi-selection, which is enforced at design time. Although the data elements are read-only, the grid does allow one or multiple fields to be selected as shown below:

Web links (URLs) appear within the grid.

If enabled at design time, column reorder is possible at run time.

When the data grid is bound to a complex type in Interaction Process Automation Designer, the properties are used to dynamically create columns.
