Download and install IIS Media Services

Interaction Web Portal uses IIS and its Media Services extension module to stream audio obtained from recordings for use with playback features. Before you can begin using streaming audio, download and install IIS Media Services.

Important: To install IIS Media Services on Windows Server 2016 or newer, see PureConnect Customer Care KB article https://genesyspartner.force.com/customercare/pkb_Home?id=kA40B0000008udFSAQ&.

To download and install IIS Media Services:

1. From Utilities and Downloads, select IIS Media Services Installation from Microsoft to download the IISMedia64.zip file.
