Change Status Permission

Use the Change Status permission to specify whether users can modify the status of an account. For more information, see Change the Status of an Account.

Location

In the Latitude Permissions and Policies Editor window, expand the Accounts folder and then click Change Status.

Scope

This permission is available for all scopes.

Policy

This policy allows your organization to specify which account statuses users can and cannot modify. Enable the permission for a scope and then specify the restrictions.

  • Restrict the status from which the user may change the account: If selected, allows the user to modify the account status when the account is in the specified statuses only.

  • Statuses: Statuses from which the user can change an account. For example, you can indicate whether the user can modify the status of accounts that have an "active" status.

  • Restrict the status to which the user may change the account: If selected, allows the user to change the account status to the specified statuses only.

  • Statuses: Statuses to which the user can change an account. For example, you can indicate whether the user can change accounts to a "pending" status.

Note: If you add a status code after setting the policy, update the policy to include or exclude the new status.
