Change the Status of an Account
Use the Status Change dialog box to change the status of an account. Only the status codes that you have permission to change to are available in the list. For more information, see Change Status Permission.
To change the status of an account

With an account displayed in the Work Form, in the upper right portion of the Work Form, click in the Status box. The Status Change dialog box appears. Active status codes display in blue, and status codes that close the account display in red.

Click a status and then click Accept. The system creates a note to indicate the status change, the previous status code, the new status code, and the type (active or closed).
Note: If you attempt to change an active account to a closed status and future PDCs or promises exist on the account, a message appears indicating future transactions are pending. To close the account and delete all future PDCs or promises, click OK.
