Add a managed IP phone or template
To add a managed IP phone or template

In the <IC_Server> container, do one of the following:

To add a managed IP phone, double-click the Managed IP Phones container.

To add a managed IP phone template, double-click the Templates container.

In the list view window, right-click and then click New.

In the Name box, type a unique name. To create a managed IP phone template that is based on an existing workstation, click Browse.

If you are adding a managed IP phone and want to use a template, from the Template list, select the template. For more information on templates, see Managed IP phone template concepts.

In the Type list, select the appropriate type for the phone.

In the Manufacturer list, select the manufacturer.

In the Model list, select the model of the phone.

The Access Control Group field appears if one or more access control groups have been added in the Access Control Groups subcontainer, which is found in the People container.

To associate this IP managed phone with an access control group, click ... and then select the access control group.

Click OK.
The Managed IP Phone Configuration dialog box appears. -
