Copy a node

The Copy command copies the selected node to the clipboard.  You can drag and drop or cut/copy/paste nodes from one area to another in the tree.  However, Interaction Attendant won't let you drag nodes from one server to another, or to paste nodes from one server to another. All node movement is restricted to the current server.  Interaction Attendant also checks to see if the dropped/pasted node is assigned to a digit that is already in use by an existing node in the menu.  If the new node is assigned the same digit as an already existing node, The dropped/pasted node's digit is reassigned to <None>.

Usage

This command may be invoked using any of the following methods:

  • Press the Copy button () on the main toolbar.

  • Pull down the Edit menu and select Copy.

  • Press the right mouse button while the mouse is over a node, and choose Copy from the context menu.
