CSV SIP Station List

A CSV SIP Station list is a text file containing SIP station information separated by commas.

If your CIC license includes the SIP or Dialogic HMP feature, you You can create multiple “non-managed” SIP stations by importing a CSV SIP Station list post-installation in the Interaction Administrator Stations container.

Examples of “non-managed” SIP stations are IP phones other than Polycom such as Astra or Cisco (although Polycom phones can be non-managed if preferred), stand-alone fax machines, and remote stations.

Examples of "non-managed" SIP stations are:

  • Analog stations connected via SIP FXS gateways

  • SIP handsets from vendors that are not included in PureConnect's managed IP phone implementation

Note: If you plan to implement managed IP phones, please note you will import a different CSV list in Managed IP Phones Assistant in Interaction Administrator to create managed phones and associated SIP stations.

To create a CSV SIP Station list

A Microsoft Excel document (CSV SIP Station List.xls) and a sample CSV file (CSV SIP Station List.csv) are available on the .iso file in the Additional Files...CSV Lists directory.

Open a copy of CSV SIP Station List.xls in Excel and enter the attributes in the appropriate columns for the SIP stations you wish to create. The station attributes are:

  • Name

  • Type

  • Extension

  • Identification Address

  • Connection Address

  • Manufacturer

  • Model

  • MAC Address

When your additions are complete, save the document as a .CSV file type and download it to a secure location on the CIC Server. You can open the new .CSV file in any text editor.

For more information, including station attribute descriptions and instructions for importing the CSV SIP Station list in Add Stations Assistant, see CSV List Import in the Technical Reference Documents section of the PureConnect Documentation Library.
