Dialogic Stop, Start, Reset

This dialog appears if you are re-running IC Setup Assistant on a CIC Server with Dialogic HMP or Dialogic (board-based).

Note: In a new or upgrade installation, IC Setup Assistant starts the Dialogic service automatically.

Use this dialog to:

• Stop or start the Dialogic service

• Change the startup mode of the Dialogic service

This option is an alternative to manually performing these procedures in the Dialogic Configuration Manager (DCM).

Start/Stop System

If instructed to do by PureConnect Customer Care:

• Press the Stop (square) button to stop the Dialogic service.

• Press the Start (arrow) symbol to start the Dialogic service.

Select Dialogic Service

In a new or upgrade installation, IC Setup Assistant starts the Dialogic service automatically.

There may be instances when you want to set the Dialogic service to manual. For example: If you are upgrading Dialogic versions, you would set the Dialogic service to manual so that you can reboot the system without ever running the service.
