Installation Documentation

Before you begin a new CIC Server installation, we strongly recommend that you read the following documentation.

• New Installation Checklists: Provides a summary of each aspect of a new installation.

• PureConnect Installation and Configuration Guide: Contains the background information, system requirements, and procedures for installing and configuring the CIC Server and other servers on the network.

• IC Setup Assistant Help: The IC Setup Assistant is a wizard that automates CIC Server configuration. To launch the help when IC Setup Assistant is running, click the help button.

PureConnect Documentation Library

Once the CIC Server installation process is complete, the new PureConnect Documentation Library is available on the CIC Server. The CIC Documentation Library is an application that merges all help systems and documentation installed on the CIC Server into a single searchable unit.

The PureConnect Documentation Library enables you to:

• Access the entire documentation set on the CIC Server from Start->Programs->PureConnect->Online Documentation…PureConnect Documentation Library.

• View or search the entire documentation set for a document title, topic, term, or keyword.
