Toggle Status Bar on or off

The Status Bar displays a Ready condition indicator.

You can control whether or not the Status Bar is displayed. It is displayed by default. To toggle it on or off, select View > Status Bar. When the Status Bar is visible, a check box appears next to this menu option.
