Move an Activity

You can move an activity to another time slot for that agent in a local schedule. You cannot more an activity in an AI-powered schedule.

Note: Before you move an activity, select the appropriate Scheduling unit from the Interaction Optimizer Home page.

Move an existing activity

  1. From the Interaction Optimizer Home page, in the Scheduling area select the appropriate schedule from the Schedules drop-down list and click the Open selected schedule link. The selected schedule opens.

  2. Select one or more activities using Ctrl+Click, and move (an arrow appears) them right or left within each activity's row.

  3. If a single activity is moved, a confirmation dialog appears. Select Yes to continue, or No to cancel the move.

  4. If you select Yes, the system moves the activity or activities to the new time slots. If you select No, the system cancels the move.  

Note: If multiple non-contiguous activities in the same shift are selected, all activities between the first and last selected activity are automatically selected, when the activities are moved right or left.
