Deactivating a Process
Deactivating a process makes it unavailable for launch but does not delete it. In effect, it "un-publishes" the process.
Appropriate user rights are required to publish, deactivate, or delete a process. If IPA Designer shows an error message when you try to do those tasks, contact your system administrator to obtain the required user rights.
To deactivate a process:
-
In the IPA process list, click the name of the desired process.
-
On the Process menu, click Deactivate.
-
IPA Designer asks you to confirm the deactivation (see figure).
-
Click Yes.
IPA Designer deactivates the process. The process can no longer be launched unless you re-publish it or another authorized user publishes it.
