Enable Bot Configurations in Social Media

To map bot configurations to incoming Social interactions on a channel,

Note: You must enable Social Media and log on to your Social Media account before you configure Social Media channel.

  1. Expand the appropriate social media account section of the Social Media view. (For more information, see configure Facebook ,Twitter or WhatsApp channel).
  2. Fill all the required fields.
  3. Check the Enable Bot Configuration box.
  4. Select appropriate bot from Bot Configuration dropdown list for which bot configurations should be enabled.

Note: Once you complete the mapping of bot configuration to social media, update the handlers ‘CustomSocialMediaDirectMessageChatBotRouting.ihd’ and ‘CustomSocialMediaDirectMessagePostChatBotRouting.ihd’ on the IC server for customization and publish handlers.
