Configure the IBM (Lotus) Domino Notes Provider

Enter the information that CIC needs to connect to the IBM (Lotus) Domino Notes server.

Password

Enter the CIC administrator's IBM (Lotus) Domino password. It should be the same password used to log into the Domino server when Notes is started. (Not the Windows domain or CIC password.)

Confirm Password

Re-enter the password.

Note: While IC Setup Assistant verifies that the same password is typed in both fields in this dialog, it does not verify that the Notes password is the actual Notes password. In other words, no authentication with the Domino server is attempted.

Additional configuration in Interaction Administrator

Additional configuration options, Use Database Search and Use Folder References, are available in the Notes Configuration dialog in the Interaction Administrator Mail container that provides a significant performance improvement when accessing a mailbox via the TUI.

IC Survey Location: This information may be included in the IC Survey file. If so, the selection/value will appear in this dialog. You can review the contents of the IC Survey file by selecting View Survey in the Load IC Survey File dialog or opening it in a Pre-Install survey in the IC Survey system.
