Controls on Work Item Pages

Work item controls are visual objects that either (1) display data to the user, (2) get data from the user, or (3) perform some action such as saving the data a user entered in the form. Examples of controls are labels, text boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, and command buttons such as OK. Controls have properties that you can use to adjust how a control looks and what action it performs.
