Opening a Process

To open a process for editing, either:

Right-click the process in the process list, then click Open in the shortcut menu.
Double-click the process in the process list.

Note that opening a process is different from checking out a process. Before you can edit a process, you must check it out. Opening the process simply displays it in your workspace. If the process is checked out, you can then edit it.

If an existing process does not appear in the process list:

Open the File menu, point to Add, and click Existing Process.

IPA Designer displays a dialog with a list of existing processes. You can access processes for which you have the appropriate permissions.
Select the desired process and click Add.
