Interaction Client Web Edition

Generic Object Support

SU5 adds the ability to receive and handle generic objects in Interaction Client Web Edition. Generic objects can be routed through ACD Server just like any other media type and assigned to users. For more information about the configuration and use of generic objects, see the IC ACD Processing Technical Reference and the Interaction Designer Help in the CIC Documentation Library.

Callback Object Support

Interaction Client Web Edition now includes support for callback objects. Interaction Center can route Callback Objects to agents using the Interaction Client Web Edition.

Interaction Client Web Edition also includes the functionality described in the section Interaction Client .NET Edition - Callback Disposition and Retry

Web Farm/Web Cluster Support

Interaction Client Web Edition in SU5 includes some changes that improve the behavior of the web client when deployed in a web farm or cluster. Before, a user had to reauthenticate once a connection switched from one web server to another. Starting with SU5, there is no longer a requirement to reauthenticate. This change improves user experience for deployments in web farms and web clusters.
