Add a New Activity

You can add a new activity to a local schedule. You cannot add a new activity to an AI-powered schedule.

Note: Before you add a new activity, select the appropriate Scheduling unit from the Interaction Optimizer Home page.

Add an activity

  1. From the Interaction Optimizer Home page, in the Scheduling area select the appropriate schedule from the Schedules drop-down list and click the Open selected schedule link. The selected schedule opens.

  2. Select the activity type you want to add from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Add Activity and drag the mouse to the agent row where you want to add the activity.

  4. Release the cursor. The Modify Activity Details dialog opens.

  5. Make the necessary changes to the new activity. Options include Activity Type, Length, Start time, description, determining if the activity is paid or counts toward contiguous work time, and the ability to force time values to the nearest 15 minute increment.

  6. Click OK.
