Define Multi-Site Parameters

The dialog appears if you selected the Multi-Site option on the Select IC Optional Components dialog.

Multi-Site ID

Enter the unique numeric identifier for this CIC Server. Each CIC Server should have a unique Site ID.

You will use the Site ID and the Site Name when you configure the CIC Server in Interaction Administrator as a Peer Site on another site in the collective.

Reporting uses the Site ID in CIC report logs. It can be used to create custom queries that isolate data from the site.

Password

Enter the Multi-Site password for this CIC Server. Passwords are case-sensitive and can be any length or character.

When you configure the CIC Server in Interaction Administrator as a Peer Site on another site in the collective, you are prompted for this password.

Confirm

Re-enter the password.

Multi-Site RTM Server

This option is enabled if you selected Multi-Site RTM Client Only in the Configure Multi-Site for this Server dialog.

Type the name of the machine that runs the Multi-Site RTM server that you will be connecting to.  This is the dedicated Multi-Site RTM server, not the CIC Server currently being configured.

IC Survey Location: This information may be included in the IC Survey file. If so, the selection/value will appear in this dialog. You can review the contents of the IC Survey file by selecting View Survey in the Load IC Survey File dialog or opening it in a Pre-Install survey in the IC Survey system.
