Merge Using Microsoft Word Permission

Use the Merge Using Microsoft Word permission to specify whether users can use Microsoft Word to modify pending letters in Latitude and letter templates in Letter Console without having to download, edit, and then upload them. You must have Microsoft Word installed to use this feature. For more information about modifying pending letters, see Modify a Pending Letter Using Microsoft Word. For more information about modifying letter templates, see "Modify a Letter Template Using Microsoft Word" in the Letter Console documentation.

Note: If you disable this permission or don't configure it, you must download the letter, customize it, and then upload it back to Latitude. For more information, see Customize a Pending Letter.

Location

In the Latitude Permissions and Policies Editor window, expand the Letters folder and then click Merge Using Microsoft Word.
