The 2015 R3 release of the Interaction Center supports the changes to the ICWS
API described below.
This topic contains the following sections:
The Directories service introduced in this release provides the ability to perform various directory-related operations:
directoryID
property from an associated directory metadata subscription response. Directory subscriptions provide a way to retreive contact entries that are associated with the specified directory, as well as the ability to watch for contact additions, changes, and removals for the directory.See Directories for help getting started with using this new API.
The /icws/{sessionId}/messaging/subscriptions/interaction-history resource introduced in this release provides the ability to create and update subscriptions to interaction history. Interaction history provides access to historical information about the logged in user's interactions, such as the begin time and remote number. Only call-specific interaction history is provided.
The Users representations were enhanced with a new enableAdvancedDialing
property that determines if the advanced dialing options are enabled.
This release of the Interaction Center supports the following ICWS
feature versions. See Versioning for more information about ICWS
versioning, including how documentation of an API includes its required feature version and how to query the Interaction Center at run time to determine what feature versions it supports.
Only the features listed below are supported by this release of the Interaction Center. Any other feature required by later versions of ICWS
is not supported. Similarly, for the listed features, this release of the Interaction Center only supports the listed version of that feature, not any higher version.
